Welcome, Class of 2026 and Families!

The School is now accepting applications for on-campus parking permits for eligible rising senior students for the 2025 Fall Semester. These permits allow students to park in designated areas on school grounds (lots C and F) during school hours.  Not all who apply will get a parking permit as the demand for parking permit outweighs the number of spots available.  We use AACPS Regulation JGA-RA as our guide in determining how permits are allotted to students.  From the regulation:

• Priority #1: Seniors participating in school-supervised work/intern programs.
• Priority #2 (if parking spaces remain): Seniors attending Early College Access Program (ECAP) or another educational pursuit.
• Priority #3 (if parking spaces remain): A lottery for all other seniors.

It is imperative that the students apply correctly and follow the timeline provided below.  Permits are issued for the fall semester only, with a second application process repeating for the spring semester.

• June 24 – Parking Workshop PowerPoint and questionnaire will be sent to the student’s school email address
• July 7 – Internship/ECAP documentation must be submitted for consideration for priority parking. Necessary documentation: Student Motor Vehicle Registration Form (available in the main office); copy of your driver’s license, care registration and proof of insurance; copy of your Fall 2025 AACC registration if applicable.
• July 23 – final acceptance of parking documentation for consideration.  Students who submit by this date will be added to a lottery for available spaces.

Important notes

1. Applications received after July 23, will not be considered until all other applications have been processed and assigned parking.
2. The Parking Workshop questionnaire will need to be completed before a pass can be issued.

This message contains important information and required actions for the start of the school year. 

‎1. High School Graduation Notification Agreement (Senior Contract): The Graduation Notification Agreement is now available in both the Student Portal and Parent Portal. Each Senior and their Parent/Guardian must log in to their individual portal accounts to review, sign, and submit this form.

How to Access the Form:

Log into your portal account. Click “Forms” on the left-hand sideSelect “AACPS - High School Graduation Notification Agreement”. Complete all required fields and submit. Important Notes: If you are requesting a partial schedule, please complete this form before August 4th. All Seniors and Parents must submit the signed contract by September 1st. If you signed the form before receiving this email, please return to the form, review the counselor-entered information, re-sign, and resubmit.

2. Senior Transcript Release Form: Seniors must also complete the Transcript Release Form, which is available in the portal under “Forms.” This must be submitted before requesting transcripts through Naviance. It allows us to send your official transcript to colleges or other post-secondary institutions.

 3. College Application Bootcamp Sign-Up: We will provide training on how to request transcripts and the college applications process at our College Application Boot Camps. Please complete this form to attend one of the sessions below:
